نسبت دادن حالات ذهنی به افراد برای درک رفتار انسان‌ها و پیش‌بینی اینکه آن‌ها در آینده چه کاری را انجام خواهند داد، به عنوان آسان‌ترین راه برای درک جهان پیرامون انسان، نقش ضروری ذهن خوانی را مطرح می‌کتد.

برخی از کودکان مشکلات ویژه‌ای در استدلال درباره حالات ذهنی دارند و اینگونه فرض شده که این نقص، علت اصلی بسیاری از نابهنجاری‌های رشدی و اجتماعی است.

Emotional Diet Program

These days, a large number of children are exposed to digital devices (such as mobile phones, tablets, and televisions) that, in addition to their destructive biological effects, interfere with parent-child interaction. This has raised concerns among parents, health professionals and children’s educators. Because some of these children have symptoms of developmental disorders or have even been diagnosed with autism. The program lasts for eight weeks and includes activities that the parent (primary caregiver / child caregiver) should perform daily at home with the child so that the child can actively interact with the parent.

One of the most important questions for parents and clinicians is to what extent the child’s symptoms and deficiencies have been affected by the poor and poor living conditions of the child’s communication and social life. Repairing a parent-child relationship is designed for children who have been exposed to extreme digital devices.

The program lasts for eight weeks and includes activities that the parent (the child’s primary caregiver) must perform daily at home with the child so that the child can actively interact with the parent. Emotional diet interventions are parent-centered interventions aimed at increasing parent-child communication hours while reducing the use of digital devices by the child. The steps involved in this intervention include strengthening or establishing an emotional bond between parent and child, parent-child interaction, and ultimately the two-way communication between parent and child.

The effectiveness of this program has been demonstrated in experimental studies (Rahmati, Sadeghi)

Course length

The program runs during 7 weekly sessions, 4 sessions (in groups) and 3 sessions (individually).

Target group

Parents of children with communication problems who have spent more than half of their waking hours exposed to digital devices (mobile phones, tablets and televisions) or non-communicative games.
